The customer question goes beyond an SDK example
A working vendor example establishes a starting point. A customer still needs to know whether its data and model can use the target runtime, whether the firmware fits, and whether the integrated application meets quality and performance requirements.
reqmote’s project approach makes those questions explicit. The scope starts with one workload and target, then defines the evidence required to advance from evaluation to integration. Support and deliverables are agreed before execution.
A bounded engagement
- Define the application decision. Agree the use case, data, target variant, SDK/runtime and constraints.
- Freeze the quality comparison. Identify a reference and candidate models, relevant error measures, data splits and acceptance policy.
- Investigate integration. Check exact model/operator support, compiler output, memory accounting and firmware linkage.
- Collect the agreed board evidence. Identify hardware, firmware and test inputs. Distinguish controlled inference from representative application behavior.
- Report the decision. Retain failed gates and unsupported claims alongside successful measurements so the next engineering step is clear.
What the public experiments establish
Quality versus model size
The KWS comparison evaluates an INT8 reference and a compact model on the same audio. It is an offline calibration comparison with explicit error definitions.
Build and physical-board traceability
The A10 vision walkthrough connects model identity, a pinned Nordic build and controlled nRF54LM20B runs. Its product-quality gate fails; power and energy remain unmeasured.
These are separate evidence lanes. They do not establish general support for every model, comparative vendor performance or a production-ready customer application.
Start with the integration bottleneck
Bring the workload, data format, target board, SDK/runtime version, current model if any, and the decision that is blocked. We will use that context to agree supported work, evidence requirements and project boundaries.
